Thoughts:
My little cousin got the game Guess Who? for Christmas today. Always a childhood favorite, she wanted to play it right away. Knowing that this is one of the more difficult games to put together I ran away for a little while. After the whole thing was together we noticed some differences from the game I had when I was little. The rows are organized a little differently and the snap does not work very well. After the game you shake the board and all the people pop back up. In this new version half the people stay down. This is only a minor problem. The people looked different, they had all been redrawn, but everybody was still there. We still have our game so I got it out and we compared the people. Most everyone’s basic features are the same but some look much different. The biggest change is to Anita. In the old version she was the little girl, now she is an old lady with white hair. This whole incident disturbed me, these games are classics and should not be changed. I am scared to open Clue, which her sister got, and Life, which I got. I doubt they changed Clue very much, you can’t clean up a game where the object is to find out where and how someone died.

A little ten day break from the site. I had some ideas to put up here but I didn’t have time and forgot most of them.

Wow, two days in a row, is it possible that I can maintain this on a daily basis?

Thoughts:
Today I was surfing through the channels when I came accross C-SPAN 3 (channel 105). I was not aware that there even was a C-SPAN 3,the first two are not terribly exciting. This brought up two interesting points:
1) We do not even get C-SPAN 2. This is very strange that we get 1 and 3 but no 2, these type of things always go in order.
2) Have you seen a better case for the need of 2 Picture-in-Picture frames? I mean now you can watch the House, Senate, and C-SPAN original programming at the same time. On another note, why are they adding crappy channels like this? They took away ESPN Classic and we don’t get quality channels like the Game Show Network and TechTV.

Days Getting Longer – I saw a story about this on ABC World News Tonight, I was waiting for Jeopardy to come on, anyways they explained how the days were getting longer everyday, although by a very very small amount. I found a site that explains it a little bit and learned a little more info. Check it out, really interesting, I had never heard of a leap second.
