Dave Matthews is Still Around?

Monday, October 10th, 2005

Was checking out the BJC site curious to see what concerts are coming up and checked out their rumors page. This is what they have posted there:

Due to the excitement of the recent football weekend, many Dave Matthews Band tickets are still available.

Yea, thats why no one bought tickets. The football game.

Listen: Panic! At the Disco

Sunday, September 25th, 2005

Sunday morning music recommendation. Check out Panic! At the Disco. I’m terrible at describing bands. I’m filing this one in the fun pop-punk section, some techno beats (think hellogoodbye). AbsolutePunk lists similar artists at Fall Out Boy, The Acadamy Is, The Stereo, and Head Automatica. They also enjoy long song titles, such as “Lying Is The Most Fun You Can Have With A Girl Without Taking Her Clothes Off.” They are on the Nintendo Revolution tour (you know, the one with Fall Out Boy, Starting Line, and Motion City Soundtrack). They are on Fueled by Ramen, which I now officially like better than Drive-Thru. Look at this list of bands that have been on the label: Fall Out Boy, Less Than Jake, Punchline, The Acadamy Is …, Gym Class Heros, and Paramore.

Trying something, so let me know if its a keeper. Each week I will post my Top 10 Music Chart. My problem is that iTunes (or J. River) don’t support anyway of doing most listened to in the past week. 4. Fall Out Boy – Chicago is So Two Years Ago
5. AM Radio – Stole the Show
6. August Premier – Fall
7. Autopilot Off – Chromatic Fades
8. Better Than Ezra – Sincerely Me
9. Blink 182 – Emo
10. Blink 182 – Time To Break Up

Tuesday, January 18th, 2005

I noticed that I hadn’t posted an updated Top Hits list from my MP3 player since July. Most of the stuff at the top didn’t move around too much. Check it out here.
