Saturday

My flight from Philadelphia took of on time and arrived 20 minutes early. This was my first time using an E-ticket. It is very fast, you just use a touch screen to get your boarding passes and then take your luggage over to have it checked. The downside is that you can't use the skycap but there is no tip and it isn't that much harder. I had a window seat and no one was in the seat next to me. It was excellent. When we landed there was a group of Spring Breakers from PSU headed to Florida. On of the ladies on the plane asked them what school they were from. When they said PSU she said that her nephew went there and said his name. The one kid replied, “I don't know him, are you sure he goes there? Cause I know all 40,000 kids.” It was classic, he delivered the line perfectly the lady didn't even realize she had been made fun of. These were the same kids who had a blast making fun of the gay flight attendant. They did something that caused him to call them Silly Billies, after that, it was over. All male flight attendants are required to be gay. Much more about this on the ride home. I landed in Charlotte only to find that my connecting flight was delayed slightly. Not to worry, I had plenty of CDs to keep me occupied. This was my first time ever being in North Carolina, bringing my state visited total to 11. I had some time to kill and I was hungry, which was surprising since the tiny bag of pretzels on the plane was so filling. I decided to try some of the local cuisine, so of course, I headed straight for Burger King. This has to be the most poorly run Burger King I have ever been to. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry to catch a plane. Also in Charlotte, Mike Tyson was there. I didn't see him but apparently he was at the gate across from mine. I had my headphones on so I didn't hear any of the commotion. I'm not sure what I would have done. He is quite scary but it would have been cool to get an autograph or picturce. Most people commented that he was really short. Since I didn't see him, Urkel is still my most famous airport encounter. For this flight again, I had a window seat but this time I had a neighbor. It was a college student going to Florida for Spring Break as well. She went to some Christian school in Texas. My main focus then was to avoid talking about religion, Bush, and my strong dislike of Texas in general. She had not heard of any of the groups in my CD collected and wanted to listen to some. I tried out some of my more girly stuff and she was a fan. I pushed it a little with some Lucky Boys Confusion which she liked but since all the songs incorporate sex and drugs she was not a fan of the lyrics. A decent single serving friend and it made the trip a little bit faster. When we landed my ears were in pain. I had survived the first flight but the second one did me in. Frances' immense supply of gum couldn't even save me. Evan found me and after we finally located my luggage we headed to Celebration.
When we arrived it was pretty late so we watched SNL at 1AM. The Crawfords invested in a ReplayTV, one of the greatest inventions of all time. It is incredibly addicting, you just want to tape everything. SNL sucked so we went to bed.
