Monday

Monday's schedule was pretty light, the only major event for the day was that Andrea would be arriving. The day started off by waking up in time to go to lunch in downtown Celebration. Mrs. Crawford treated Evan and I to Max's and some excellent milkshakes. When we got back it was time for Evan to head to the airport to pick up Andrea. I had to stay back and watch Corie. To pass the time I watched an episode of Gilmore Girls that was saved on the ReplayTV. I don't know why I don't watch this show more often. As soon as Evan and Andrea returned we headed over to check out some Celebration softball. The girls kept it close but lost to what I was told was one of the better teams. Evan's Grandpa arrived in time to see the last batter. At the game Corie had a confrontation with a red ant hill. We had to take her home and try one of the many remedies suggested by the family. First mixing baking soda and water to form some sort of paste and then Grandpa brought over an onion and meat tenderizer. We couldn't convince Corie to try this method. We need gas when we got back so Evan let me drive his car for the first time, since I would be paying for the gas anyway. I had no problem getting to the gas station but reading the map backwards led to some confusion and it took me a little while to make it back. We ordered some Celebration pizza from Upper Crust. It was very good but it took so long that we had only a few minutes to eat so we wouldn't be late to Chicago. Yes, we had to go see Chicago. Evan had made a deal with his Mom to get her to go see Old School. In exchange Evan had to see Chicago and somehow I got roped into it. It was pretty bad. I was expecting it to be absolutely terrible, but it was slightly better than that. Arriving home marked the end of Game 2 of LPB with Evan winning again. The rest of the night we pretty much just watched TV. The lineup included: Ed (Lucid Dreams episode which was Evan's 3rd time watching it and my 2nd), Daily Show, Letterman, and Conan. I'm not sure if it was this Conan or the one we watched during the day but this guy was on who claimed he owned the moon and was selling land online. You can buy the land at lunarembassy.com, its about $20/acre, not bad. One interesting conversation came about when Evan said that after he wins the lottery he is going to buy 5 houses: Ireland, Lake Tahoe, a Florida Beach, San Francisco – Bay Area, and Hawaii. I was not allowed to repeat so my list was: San Diego, Switzerland, Manhattan, Caribbean – Caymans, and Australia. Andrea was in trouble since we took all the good places. Her list included France, San Juan, and Pennsylvania. At this point we were out of ideas. As you can see, not a terribly busy day. Which was good since we needed some rest for the days ahead. Below is the only picture of the day, Evan's sister Brynn up at bat during her game.
