Wednesday
Today we woke up to another beautiful day. Which couldn't be possible, this was beach day. Last year it was by far the worst day of the week. Sunny skies and almost 80 degree temperatures we we off to Cocoa Beach. Evan said that it was called Cocoa Beach because of the dark sand. I guess he was right. It seemed plausible. This was definitely not a Spring Break hot spot. The majority of the beach goers were families. The extent of our activity was walking to our spot, setting up the umbrella and walking up to the water, going foot deep and sitting back down. It was overcast at the beach so I couldn't feel the burn, well, not until later. The most exciting part of the day was when the wind pulled the umbrella out of the ground. I was quickly on it so that no one was speared by a wild umbrella. Sitting and doing nothing on the beach led to a number of conversations. We finally had a chance to discuss the rules for our long term fantasy baseball league. Unlike the majority (all) of our ideas this one has actually happened. We also discussed my dorm/house idea, which does not have an official name but has a number of people interested. The idea is to take the convenience of dorm/college living, having your friends and everywhere you need to go extremely close. The main housing will be towers where each person gets their own floor. The floors will be very large so that you can do what you want. The space will be equivalent to a fairly large house. The could even be two floors. All these details can be worked out later. The elevator is your front door. You will have a key for the elevator, that way only you can get in. You can also buzz anyone up that you may have visit. In the area will be plenty of sports facilities, gyms, pools, you name it. Most of the facilities will have retractable enclosures, so they can be used in all weather/season. Exact location has not been decided. It may be on a lake or very close to a beach. At first I wanted a go-kart track, similar to the kid in blank check. But then I realized that money is no issue and it would be more fun to have an actual race track. Everyone living there would also work at my company, in very cushy jobs. My corporate headquarters will be located very close, in fact, there will be a monorail to the office. One potential business idea that this could work for is doing the exact same thing for other rich people. I think people would be into it. We customize for your needs. I can't forget the runway for my private jet.
Time to head back. Since Andrea went scoreless in her first two days of LPB, the rules were adjusted. She could call each plate once, even if the state had already been called. She could not however call the exact same plate that Evan or I called. She was still not able to place. I took day 4 of LPB cutting Evan's lead to 3-1.

When we returned home we had a few errands to run. With Andrea leaving tomorrow she needed some Celebration merchandise and pictures of the fountain downtown. We stopped in every potential store in Celebration finding nothing that was decent and within budget. Today was our second trip to Publix, this time we had a much larger list. Notes: long lines, expensive, got Hawaiian Punch, Balloon Guy has issues, got very large balloon for Grandpa's birthday, bread was terribly picked over, we needed Ruffles and they only had reduced fat, there wasn't even a spot for regular fat. We had a decent amount of groceries and a giant balloon plus a few others. The problem was that we forgot to empty the beach stuff out of the trunk. So Andrea was squeezed into the back with everything.

The menu for dinner was hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, prepared by grillmaster Evan. Dinner was quite interesting, the entire table was in need of sleep. Corie was rambling on about who knows what. She started talking about noses and said I had a marble nose. Meaning it looked like I have a marble at the tip of my nose. Mrs. Crawford gave me a free throw Corie in the pool pass. After dinner and a little time to digest we headed to Old Town to ride the Sling Shot. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous. Its hard to describe this contraption. You may have seen it before with two large towers with bungee cords tied to a ball and you get shot up into the air. This is the same thing, WITHOUT THE BALL. You just hang out there. Evan and Andrea rode together while I rode with Random Japanese Girl, which was her real name. The line was long. There was a softball team in front of us who were all dressed like Dorothy, I don't know. It was actually really cool. I would definitely do it again.

We got back right before Ed was over so we had to wait so we could watch the ReplayTV. We sat out on the front porch in the rocking chairs. There are two on each side of the porch. Evan was on the far end with Andrea next to him and I was at the other end. I didn't feel like moving the rocking chair. The girls (Andrea and Corie) could not understand this. I think there were confused about the nature of how sound travels because Evan and I were talking and Andrea kept trying to rock out of the way. We tried to explain that we did not need to see each other to talk. Discussion included when/if Evan comes to PA to visit this summer and I have a pool party so he can see everyone at once. We worked on the guest list. It was time to get back inside to watch Ed when we found that Corie had locked all the doors. We rang the doorbell and yelled, with no response. I called and Corie hang up on me. Evan and I snuck to the side of the house and Andrea was able to get Corie to let her in. Corie made the mistake and left the door unlocked. Evan and I were able to get in and track down Corie. She hid behind Mrs. C who knew about it the whole time. Evan was given a throw Corie in the pool pass. We finally settled in for Ed, Daily Show, Letterman, and Conan.
