We traveled through a good deal of Philadelphia. The plan was dependant on Evan getting around on his own to start it all off. Evan arrived the day before and stayed with Neale at Drexel. Even needed to get himself along with his luggage to Fernrock via the Subway. He had a day pass to ride the subways as much as he wanted and I had my monthly SEPTA pass from going to work everyday. I eventually found Fernrock and Evan. We loaded his belongs into my car and got back on the Subway and headed for 30th St. Station. We then got in contact with Karen who was in the city visiting before heading to the shore. We found her and began to walk. We really had to purpose in mind. At some point we had seen everything in the city that was of interest, but never just walked around. Eventually we found ourselves at Penns Landing.

These are the only pictures from the day in Philly. Thinking back I have no idea what happened. I know we have some video, which someday Evan will dust off and do something with. I guess we just we so used to everything there wasn't that new and exciting feeling that makes me want to take a picture.

We went back up South Street to Broad and back to 30th St. Most likely the longest possible route but we didn't want to get lost. Somehow Evan found his way around the city better than Karen or I, he did not let much time go between mentioning this to us.

We went back to Fernrock to unload the cameras, for some reason I left mine behind which is why there are no pictures from my last trip to the Vet.

The next day was to be the pool party/renuion which wound up being cold and cloudy so it stayed indoors. The only people that showed up when the festivities were supposed to begin were the PSU kids. They had no excitement in them and it was looking like the day was going to be a bust. They all left and shortly after the waves of North Penn kids started rolling in. I only knew that two or three people were coming. Imagine my surprise when about 15 people showed up at the door. I hadn't seen just about everyone in a few years. It was a lot of fun and next time Evan visits I'm sure it will happen again and the people who missed out will show up.
