Weekend Before

Tim makes an appearence later in the trip, but there aren't any pictures of that, so here he is.

Janos, Gregg, and Evan. In case you didn't know.

The Swamp after hours.

Nice work guys, now what are you going to do with that sign?

Sunday

I got a ride to the Rochester International Airport from a co-op that I work with. We pulled up to the first set of doors that were for Northwest Airlines. This was clearly the wrong entrance. So we pulled ahead ten feet and were at the American doors. Quite an International Airport if you ask me. In order to get a ride I had to leave a little early. Unfortunatly the place wound up being delayed two hours. Way too much time in an airport with one diner and a store that wasn't even open. Apparently the plane had to turn around after it left Chicago, the people getting off were not too excited. It was either the plane trip of the fact that they had arrived back in Minnesota. The plane was pretty small, you couldn't stand up in the isle without hitting your head. I arrived in Chicago an hour after my plane to Orlando had been scheduled to depart. Luckily it was also delayed and even though I had to run through the airport I made the plane in plenty of time.

I finally arrived at the Crawfords' a little late and well past our scheduled dinner time. Evan was Grillmaster and we had burgers. Simone and Jess came over to celebrate Simone's last few hours as a 20 year old. The highlight of the night, which I missed, was Evan watching American Dreams with his grandfather, who had fallen asleep. He woke up during the show, turned to Evan and asked him what he thought of Vietnam.
