Thursday

Jess was nice enough to give us some free tickets to Universal. We were on a mission to maximize our time in the part and only do the worthwhile attractions. Islands of Adventure was first to get the coasters out of the way before the big crowds arrived.

To get the tickets we were going to meet Jess on the way to save some time. Unfortunatly her car did not start, more on this later.

As soon as we got into Islands of Adventure we stopped at The Hult to get a speed pass and then went to the back of the park to jump on Dueling Dragons. The line was only about 10 minutes long so we got off that and went back to Hulk. Our speed passes were no use. They line at Hulk was around 45 minutes so we had time to come up with our plans to make the park better, more on that later as well. Both costers were cool, Hulk was the winner though. At this point we were done with Islands and went over to the main park. We hit up ET, Back to the Future, MIB was closed (we were very disappointed), Jaws, Earthquake, Twister, and Shrek 4D. In all we made it two 8 attractions in just under 5 hours. There isn't much to do twice and since we didn't pay and had much to do we took off.

Ideas for our own park:
Something good on the TVs while waiting in line: SportsCenter or Seinfeld
Make the line a ride, you sit is cars of some sort so there's no standing or walking
Add trivia, doing well results in either choice of car or moves you up in the line

On the ride home we noticed a group of bikers looking up into the sky. There was a skywriter over Celebration as you will see by the pictures below. He wrote Jesus Loves U Lots and Love God, then flew into the sun (or so it appeared).

The plan was dinner at Bahama Breeze, a Spring Break staple, not ruined by the fact that there is now a Bahama Breeze in New Jersey . We first had to take car of Jess's car situation. We followed her to the garage, which was in a ghetto just outside of Orlando . After we got the problem we had 3 cars and 3 people. I had Evan's car, Evan Jess's, and Jess her mom's. I had no idea where I was going and left my cell phone at the house since I was roaming. Jess was not easy to follow, changing lanes at almost the last possible moment, leaving me that last moment where I would almost die. At one point she switched lanes and I started to go when at the last second I spotted a biker coming up the center line, would have killed him good. Later I saw him riding standing on his bike and there were reports of wheelies. Evan got stuck behind someone going slow and had someone pass him in a turning lane. He gave the guy a 'What do you think you're doing' look and the gun brandished his gun. I think I would have swerved off the road. Evan did not think the guy was going to shoot him, but still kinda scary. We finally arrived at Bahama Breeze only a half hour late and Tim arrived at the exact same time. We started out on the deck and moved in when a table became available. Evan, Tim, and I all got steak and it was excellent. The waiter was a little strange, not surprising, I think he was from Jersey . At one point he mooed and also drew a picture on Jess's take home box. The bathrooms were also very nice. After a long discussion Evan wound up paying for the appetizer he shared with Jess. Jess's meal wound up costing her $2 after he gift certificate, Evan was not too pleased.
