I’m always tinkering with my encoding methods. Newer videos that are offered in Quicktime are encoded in h.264 (meaning you need at least Quicktime 7). I also have offered Divx, if you have Divx 6 installed it should work for you. If you try to play the Divx file in Windows Media Player and it tell you the file type is wrong just tell it to try and play it anyway. The Mac saves it as a .divx which is actually how it should be done. If you have a choice I would go for Quicktime. Older videos use Windows Media, you need at least version 9 of Windows Media Player for them to work. For all videos ask me if you would like a higher quality version.
